169 Fresh Corona Cases Detected in Odisha

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Odisha witnessed a slight rise in daily COVID count on Saturday as 169 more people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours against 154 the previous day.

The state had registered 173 COVID cases on Thursday, 218 positive cases on Wednesday, 175 cases on Tuesday, and 178 cases on Monday.

According to the I & PR Department, 97 of the new infections are from quarantine and 72 local contacts. Among them, 29 are in the age group of 0-18 years. Khordha reported the highest of 88 new cases followed by Sambalpur at 10. Fourteen districts reported nil cases.
