₹660 Cr BrahMos Deal Signed for Navy

The Defence Ministry has entered into a ₹660-crore-plus agreement with BrahMos Aerospace to equip Indian Navy warships with BrahMos Fire Control Systems and launchers.
The contract, signed under the indigenous procurement category, mandates at least 68% local content and is expected to boost participation of Indian firms, including MSMEs.


The BrahMos system will further enhance the Navy’s maritime strike capability and strengthen India’s overall defence preparedness.
