Youth Found Dead on Bhubaneswar Tracks, Murder Suspected

Bhubaneswar: The body of a youth, identified as Swaraj Behera, was discovered near the Punama railway crossing in Bhubaneswar, triggering allegations of foul play from his family.

The body was found lying in a pool of blood on the tracks, with visible injury marks on the back and other parts of the body. Behera’s brother alleged that he had been murdered and his body was placed on the tracks to cover up the crime.

“Someone has killed my brother and dumped his body on the railway tracks. There are injury marks all over him,” the brother claimed.

The Government Railway Police (GRP) arrived at the scene and have launched an investigation. The body has been sent to Capital Hospital for post-mortem to determine the cause of death.
