Two Minors Go Missing While Bathing in Kathajodi River in Cuttack

Cuttack: In a tragic incident, two minor boys went missing while bathing in the Kathajodi river in Cuttack on Saturday morning.

The missing boys have been identified as Om Ayush Barik (12) and Om Prakash Maharana (15), both residents of Bagala area in Bhagatpur, Cuttack.

According to sources, the duo had gone to the river to take a bath on the occasion of Panchaka when they accidentally slipped into deep water and were swept away.

Local residents immediately launched a search operation but were unable to trace the boys. Subsequently, they alerted the fire services personnel, who rushed to the spot and began rescue operations.

Efforts by the fire tender team and local volunteers are continuing to locate the two missing minors.
