Odisha Extends e-KYC Deadline for Food Security Schemes Till Dec 31, 2025

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has extended the deadline for completing the Aadhaar-based e-KYC process for beneficiaries under the National and State Food Security Schemes (NFSA and SFSA) till December 31, 2025.

In an official release, the Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department informed that the e-KYC verification is currently being conducted across 11,827 Fair Price Shops, 314 Block Offices, and 64 Urban Local Body Offices, where Ration Card Management Centres are functioning.

The department assured that no eligible beneficiary will be deprived of food security benefits due to non-completion of the e-KYC process. Beneficiaries who have yet to complete the verification are continuing to receive their monthly PDS commodities as usual.

Those who have not completed their e-KYC can visit their nearest Fair Price Shop or Ration Card Management Centre to complete the Aadhaar-linked verification before the extended deadline.

According to officials, the government’s move aims to enhance transparency and accuracy in the distribution of subsidized food grains while ensuring that all eligible families continue to receive their entitlements during the verification process.
