Odisha CM Increases Fire Personnel Allowances

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has announced a significant hike in allowances for Fire Services personnel in the state, including the provision of House Rent Allowance (HRA).

As part of the revision, the diet allowance has been increased from ₹900 to ₹1,400. Firefighters will also receive an enhanced motorcycle allowance, which has been raised from ₹300 to ₹1,050. The mobility allowance has been revised from ₹150 to ₹300, while the risk allowance will now be ₹1,000, up from ₹400.

These changes are expected to benefit 6,085 Fire Service personnel across Odisha, providing them with improved financial support for their essential duties.
