Nandankanan Zoo Reopens for Visitors

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): After remaining closed for over three months, Nandankanan Zoological Park in Bhubaneswar reopened for visitors today.

Authorities of the zoo said steps have been taken to ensure that COVID Appropriate Behaviour is followed by all concerned, including visitors to check spread of the virus.

Earlier, authorities had closed the zoo and the botanical garden for visitors with effect from May 1 and later extended the closure. During the period, sanitization drive was be carried out inside the zoo to prevent transmission of the virus.
