Eight new Covid cases reported in Odisha in 24 hours
Bhubaneswar, May 9(Reporters Today Bureau): As many as eight new COVID-19 cases were reported in Odisha during the past 24 hours. Of these, five were in quarantine while 3 are local contacts. With this the active cases rise to 161.
As per the data shared by the Information and Public Relations Department on Monday, as many as 14,599 samples were tested during the last 24 hours in the State.
The State’s COVID-19 test positivity rate (TPR) stands at 0.05 percent.
One case each was reported from Bolangir, Mayurbhanj, Nuapada, Kandhmal and State pool while three cases were reported from Khurda districts during the period.
