CM Reviews ODI Preparations at Barabati

Cuttack: Ahead of the highly anticipated India-England One-Day International match on February 9, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will visit Barabati Stadium in Cuttack today to review the preparations for the event. The Chief Minister is scheduled to arrive at the stadium at 11:30 am.

This will be the first international cricket match at Barabati Stadium in nearly five years, with the last such match held in 2020. Cricket fans in the region are eagerly awaiting the event, with large crowds expected to attend.

In preparation for the match, significant changes have been made to the ticket counter locations at the stadium. To address traffic concerns, the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) has moved the counters from the main road to an interior location. The shifting was supervised by OCA’s Vishnu Prasad Mohapatra, who oversaw the work late last night.

Special arrangements have also been made for women ticket buyers. A dedicated women’s counter will be available for every three general counters, ensuring better accessibility. A total of six ticket counters will be available for the sale of tickets.

Online ticket sales for the match will begin on February 2, and tickets for general spectators will be available at the counters on February 5 and 6, 2025.
