Chithra Arumugam Elevated to Apex Grade

Bhubaneswar: Senior IAS officer Chithra Arumugam has been promoted to the Apex Grade (Level-17) of the IAS Pay Matrix, as per an official notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department of the Odisha Government.

The promotion order, issued under sub-rule (2)(i) of rule 3 of the IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016, was signed by Debasis Singh, Additional Secretary to the Government. With this elevation, Arumugam has formally been appointed to the prestigious rank of Additional Chief Secretary.

According to the notification, Arumugam will continue in her present posting and hold the position in situ until further orders from the government.
