BPIA authorities to do 10 activities tomorrow on Yatri Sewa Diwas
Bhubaneswar: The authorities of the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) will observe the Yatri Sewa Diwas tomorrow (September 17) and do 10 different activities on the premises of the airport.
As informed by the airport authorities, the following activities will be organized at airport to mark the Yatri Sewa Diwas which is aimed at enhancing passenger experience and promoting community engagement at the airport.
- Each and every passenger arriving at the Biju Patnaik International Airport tomorrow will be welcomed with Traditional Tika throughout the day.
- Odissi cultural dance and Sambalpuri folk dance will be showcased during peak hours at the arrival hall of the airport.
- Tree plantation drive “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” by passengers and eminent persons will be organized at 10.30 AM.
- Blood donation camp
- Free health check-up
- Free Eye check-up
- Painting competition for passengers
- Quiz competitions for passengers
- Airport visit of students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Unit-3 (Classes 10–12) for familiarization and discussions on career opportunities in aviation.
- Selfie zones have been established at check-in and arrival area where the travellers can click their selfies
