Annual Terracotta Exhibition to Begin in Bhubaneswar on October 13

Bhubaneswar: The much-awaited annual Terracotta Exhibition will be held from October 13 to 19 at the IDCO Exhibition Ground, showcasing a vibrant collection of handmade crafts, decorative items, home décor, and traditional Odia artifacts.

The event aims to promote eco-friendly and sustainable products, with organizers enforcing a ban on single-use plastic packaging. Only handcrafted items will be permitted for sale. The exhibition will remain open to visitors from 11 AM to 9 PM each day.

Providing a platform for artisans from across Odisha, the exhibition will enable them to display their craftsmanship and sell their products directly to buyers. Around 500 artisan groups are expected to participate this year, including 18 groups from Khordha district alone.

Held annually ahead of Diwali, the Terracotta Exhibition has become a popular cultural and shopping event in the capital city, attracting large crowds of visitors and craft enthusiasts. The fair continues to serve as a major initiative to promote Odisha’s handicrafts and support local artisans.
